I'm not sure what's worse, Ads on an $1800 appliance, or a fridge you need to plug into the internet.

I'm starting to honestly go harder and harder into the β€œthe β€œSmarter” something is, the more stupid we are for using it" train of thought.

@Xoa Gray I think the thing that burns me about this is that they convince you to buy one of these because of the 'great' extra features it has, only to be told you have to pay extra for the promised features after you buy it.

Yes its AI which I'm not exactly a fan of, however having grown up with the show, gotta love what was made with it

So easy to this day spotting the fascist companies. They all have big office buildings in Israel with their brand name prominently displayed in support of Zionism.

They are all in genocide.

@chanon Well, that depends on how much you believe Wikipedia, while cut off from supplies, it was still Coca-Cola Deutschland, who's head created Fanta from what he could get his hands on.

Now if only a single anti-capitalist would admit that monopolies almost always require government assistance to survive.

Which is why all the highest-quality goods are produced in....Venezuela, I guess? And Cuba, of course. And let's not forget North Korea.

Meh. I don't object to a $20 minimum wage because it's "too high" compared with a handful of CEOs. I object because it's high enough to price plenty of people out of the job market, and I don't think it's good for them or for society for them to spend life on the dole or working on the black market.

But I keep forgetting; working for free or cheap to gain experience and other advantages is only a privilege for rich kids...I'm sorry, "interns". The poor can take a hike.

This is the answer to anyone who complains about innovation killing jobs or ruining an industry.

Assertion: Wind mills fossil fuel energy jobs!

Answer: Like the Chinese are killing our insulin industry by curing diabetes?
