Meh. I don't object to a $20 minimum wage because it's "too high" compared with a handful of CEOs. I object because it's high enough to price plenty of people out of the job market, and I don't think it's good for them or for society for them to spend life on the dole or working on the black market.
But I keep forgetting; working for free or cheap to gain experience and other advantages is only a privilege for rich kids...I'm sorry, "interns". The poor can take a hike.
Gotta love the wording in that meme

in reply to π΄ Seph π πΎ • • •The image is a comic-style illustration divided into three panels, featuring characters from the G.I. Joe franchise. The first panel shows a woman in an orange shirt speaking in a classroom setting, asking why financial education isn't taught in schools. The second panel depicts a break-in with a masked intruder, and a man in a brown uniform, presumably a G.I. Joe character, defending the classroom. The third panel shows the man continuing his statement, suggesting that widespread financial literacy would lead to economic collapse. The comic includes the G.I. Joe logo and the tagline "And knowing is half the battle!" at the bottom.
