in reply to π΄ Seph π πΎ • • •As you surely know (but someone else may not), it was "no man has gone before" in the original series. It was replaced with "one" in the 1980s as a stand-in for "human of any gender, or sex".
Further, they're doing diplomatic missions. Of course they're going to be finding people. If they'd be just interested in colonisation, Enterprise would look a lot different.
