Don't be fooled into any performative violence, avoid kettling police maneuvers, and report anyone instigating to protect the crowd.
Its gonna be a great day, but I fear that these armed bullies are gonna do sonething awful.

I'm going to list this Commodore 1701 monitor on eBay this weekend, starting at $350. If you're reading this and are in Melbourne, I will personally bring it to your door for that price.
It is tested, in working order, and has an intact front panel cover. It is a unicorn.
I will not be shipping it anywhere, it'll be pick-up only on eBay. It's not worth the hassle or the risk.
Edit: now listed on the electric harbour or whatever it's called.

@monotonehell @janbeta yep it's got a 1.2 ROM, but my *other* rev 5 with the latter keyboard also had 1.2 in the shipped board so it's all over the place really. Seems to be just luck of the draw that this one got the good keyboard.
The only reason I don't use it is that I really enjoy messing with mods and upgrades and the chicken lips keyboard takes up too much space so there's not so much scope to piggyback things in there.
So it's nice, but just not the A500 I want to use, so someone else should look after it instead of just having it gather dust here. 😁

according to german Wikipedia:
to reduce the risk of an infection
"dass Duellverletzungen besonders gefährlich seien, wenn Teile der Kleidung in die Wunden kämen und sie dabei infizierten. [...] So sei das Duell oben ohne ausgefochten worden. Nach anderen Angaben beschränkte sich das Entkleiden darauf, dass die streitenden Damen noch Korsetts und Hemden trugen."
FYI: Calling a protest "a riot" is fascist behaviour. Protesters have a right to protest. It is in our Constitutions. The police do *not* have the right to stop them. That is blatantly the government restricting the right to free expression and the right to peaceably assemble.
So when the protesters are there, chanting and waving signs and otherwise doing what protesters do, IT IS THE POLICE WHO ARE IN THE WRONG. Their job is *not* to decide the demonstration is no longer "permitted". The right isn't something you can take away.
So when those police begin lobbing and shooting weapons at the protesters, THEY ARE THE ONES ACTING ILLEGALLY. They are literally the government not allowing people their rights. They are the redcoats here. They represent the King's tyrannical authority.
So never, ever call it a riot. A riot is an unreasoning mob, using violence to achieve their aims.
A protest that is attacked by police is "citizens taking up their right to self-defence when someone tries to violate their rights illegally."
Language matters here, folks. Don't accept their language. Call things what they are, not what they want you to think they are.
Also, "violence" against property is not violence. It is tortious, not criminal. Violence is what happens to *people*.

This 👆 is an important distinction, because it is used as cover for escalation. It allows authorities to justify violence against people as a “proportionate response” rather than the escalation it is.

If there's anything that illustrated the hollowness of the Democratic Party as an effective opposition for me, it's this.
Yesterday, I watched a video of a sitting US Senator being thrown to the ground and cuffed by fed goons for asking questions of the fed official he has direct oversight authority over.
Within minutes, I'd gotten DOZENS of texts from Dems and Dem orgs asking for $5-$50 to "fight fascism."
That's it. "Are you terrified that your country is slipping into fascism? Pay me."

Can you tell this politician receives no money from AIPAC?
A lot of Americans do not understand how stupid all this anti-Iran sabre-rattling is. The USA must not invade Iran, regardless of what bribes our politicians get.
Remember Iraq? America was very successful at invading Iraq, but utterly failed when it came to the occupation. A lot of Americans forget that. We spent many years and massive amounts of debt on a failed enterprise.

Iran has a bigger GDP, a bigger military, everything about invading Iran would be orders of magnitude more difficult than invading Iraq, and the resulting occupation would similarly be far more disastrous.
Anyone seriously entertaining a war with Iran is either delusional, or out to deliberately ruin the USA.
We have now reached the point where Dems are attacking Trump FROM THE RIGHT on the issue of Iran. They think he isn't aggressive ENOUGH.

The Shift: Schumer attacks Trump from the right on Iran
Senator Chuck Schumer evidently thinks the Democrats’ best strategy is attacking the Trump administration from the right on this issue. Meanwhile, The pro-Israel camp is capitalizing on the Boulder, Colorado attack to demonize the Palestine movement.Michael Arria (Mondoweiss)
The idea of the USA invading and occupying Iran is every bit as insane as the Russian federation invading and occupying Poland.
I used to assume that the sabre-rattling was just empty threats to influence the international stage, but now that Trump is back in the White House, we cannot take for granted that sanity will prevail, not even among Dems.
Any politician pushing for hostility with Iran should be treated with hostility by voters. Invading Iran would be a massive disaster.

Did you know the little pin thing in your tire valve stem is called a Schraeder valve? And that pumps have a matching one? And that they're easily unscrewed from the valve with a small cheap tool that you can get at Walmart, Amazon, Harbor Freight, any auto parts store, and many other places? Take that out, and not only will the tire go flat, but you can't put air into it.

Why Use a Country-Level Domain Extension?
Using overseas hosting (outside the United States) is a smart move and something we encourage — it can provide greater privacy, legal protection, and sovereignty over your data.
However, hosting alone is not enough.
Even if you host your website (for example, on a .com) in a country like Germany, while your files and database may be safe, your domain name itself can still be subject to U.S. law. Many domain extensions — including .com, .net, .org, .info, .us, and .edu — are governed by U.S. jurisdiction.
Additionally, many word-based domain extensions — such as .social — are managed by private corporations based in the United States, which can still put your domain name at risk of legal or commercial interference. Corporations can also be easily bought or influenced, unlike sovereign nations. Historically, sovereign nations tend to seek to hold onto their sovereignty — even when they are financially broke or fundamentally broken.
Domain takedowns are rare, but the possibility exists — especially in today's unstable political climate. For example, even close allies like Canada have experienced tension with the U.S., and Donald Trump even tried to instruct Microsoft to discontinue services to Denmark, raising the question: What is "normal" anymore?

Hello
Correct that unstructured environment does not mean laid off. More like retired from all of the extra bleeping administrative "have to" stuff beyond the work listed on our annual performance reviews.
Having said that don't leave me unsupervised at a Barnes and Noble. LOL
