Y'all prolly starting to think I forgot about day 5
Assuming anyone is actually paying attention, perish the thought. Let's be lazy, one I've shared before, and really like both it and the video, it's amazing how much making this song heavy metal really changes it. And then the video from MacFarlane Studios...

We've heard Elvis...
Now let's go to Graceland. Never knew this was a thing, but apparently it's a product of Farm Aid from 1992, and I only heard it for the first time a few days ago on my new thrifted copy of The Essential Willie Nelson.
Could I do a covers month without this one?
I'd argue this might be better than the original, unlike most covers which are just really interesting takes on an existing song and rarely match the original.
Today's cover is...
one that I heard today for the first time. We were trying out a new restaurant for breakfast, Mario's Gyros in St Peters, and they were playing Elvis, nothing but Elvis, and this came on. He's got a good voice for this song.

Some new Christmas music for y'all
Not quite as good as the original, but fairly close, and rather funny video.
Music interlude
I love Eddie Vedder... Ok, technically Pearl Jam, but I think he's all that's left of the group, and frankly, all you need.
