Philip Gourevitch asked the one high ranking policeman he saw on 5th Ave why there were so few police. He said “We did not expect anything like this. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve only got 44 officers out here — and it’s a great crowd, great event, no incidents.”

Ok, right hit me with your github replacement recommandations.
Basically, I want whatever the lowest effort replacement is. Ideally, it would be one command to move something over and the replacement would still allow easy forking and making issues and all of that kind of stuff.
Would be willing to pay, but not per repo.
Must be outside the US.

Being chronically ill is not lazy.
Resting when your body needs it is not lazy.
Saying “no” is not lazy.
Taking care of yourself is not lazy.
Ableism teaches us to guilt ourselves for respecting our body & its limits. Change the narrative.
Taking care of yourself is powerful.

If I boost too much about the protests today/tomorrow, you can:
--- Click "hide boosts" on my profile (works until you undo it manually) -
or
--- Mute me for 24 hours (or a different intervall). This feature of time options is not available on all apps but in the browser version for sure.
It's great because people are unmuted automatically after a certain time.
I boost protest posts because protest is important and I want to show solidarity.
AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler: President Trump basically, with the stroke of a pen, took away the collective bargaining agreements of 700,000 union workers… To cancel someone’s rights like that is a slippery slope.
And for those out there listening who say, ‘Oh wow, it sucks to be a federal worker’—they’re coming after you next. This is essentially a beta test for how far they can go. Next will be rippling out across the public sector at the state and local level, and then into the private sector.

So, while the massive crowds in NY, Washington, Boston and Chicago are great, please show your appreciation to those who protested in smaller towns.
Even a crowd of 25 or 30 people… they risk more. They’re holding up signs in front of their neighbours and people they know. That takes a courage that you don’t need in a big march in a big city.

A rapper sampled the #BlackStar performance (usually referred to as "What Is Beef") from Chappelle Show back in 2003 and made part of it a chorus for a song. Anybody remember who it was? I'm reasonably certain it was a song from between 2010 and 2020. Not many more clues than that right now. Should have favorited the song when I first heard it, but I didn't. Meh
A great image showing exploding the illusion of capitalism-in-one-country!
---
Workers on or near American assembly lines must be opening boxes of components from all over the world to create "Made In America" products.
The global process of production created by capitalism itself points the members of the international working class to each other. But this process does spontaneous welds and bolts and glue those workers into a party that fights for their own historic interests.

The options we have are socialism or barbarism. A great struggle is presently underway to decide which is chosen.

Please, I beg of you, if you're publishing anything – especially a position paper, report, white paper, etc – include the date in an obvious, visible place. Ideally right there on the cover.
Stuff is moving fast. A report or a white paper that is not clearly marked with a publishing date is very close to useless – is it a year old, or a decade? Is it up to date? Is it not quoted anywhere because it's literally just out, or because it's considered crap?
Come on, people! Put dates on your shit!
