Imagine you're an ICE coward and you have to face an army of people with cameras-- while being mocked like this-- to get at the immigrants.
It works.
Fixed a dumb issue with Tales.Tiggi.es, our WriteFreely instance.
It was throwing generic errors on subscribe attempts.
Tracked it down to a β10 second timeout.β
Like everything else, we run our own mail server here.
That server is configured to delay greetings by 20 seconds to help mitigate SPAM.
WriteFreely has a hard coded 10s timeout, at which point it throws a timeout error.
Iβve added an exclude for the IP Tales.Tiggi.es is on (I shouldβve earlier anyway) so the 20s greeting delay no longer applies.
Long story short, email subscriptions, just like federation and RSS feeds all work.
Now just need more folks actually using it.
