The tweet humorously outlines a future scenario in the year 2026, detailing the steps required to access YouTube. The steps include signing in with an ID, confirming age, facial scanning, vocal recording, confirming not being a robot, clicking on traffic lights, and finally, watching the first video during a lunch break, followed by five unskippable ads. The tweet is structured as a list with each step preceded by a ">" symbol. The user's profile picture is a cartoonish character with a pink and purple color scheme.

@Xoa Gray I'm just glad that its somebody who cares about the brand, rather than just buying it to cash in on nostalgia.

@Xoa Gray Yeah, they're rare, I've seen only a handful, but knowing that they've always offered them, to me its just sorta a given. Oddly when I've seen them, they've been one of those utility bodies (KUV) rather than a box truck.
in reply to 🌴 Seph 💭 👾

I could see that. Most of the trucks I've seen that go from a regular body to something else end up that way.

The image shows a screenshot of a social media post and two comments. The post, dated May 31, 2020, is from a user expressing their class policies, which allow students to retake tests and quizzes multiple times and submit assignments late. The first comment, from a user named "snommelp," dated May 31, 2020, questions the logic behind giving children multiple chances to learn, suggesting that failure should be seen as an opportunity for growth.

The second comment, from a user named "cyborg-alchemist," dated June 12, 2020, shares a personal experience from trade school, where tests are used to identify areas of improvement rather than to judge. The user explains that in their field, mistakes are corrected, and the process is iterative, emphasizing the importance of learning from failures.

Had to turn off Fediverse alerts on my watch

I have a Bip 3 Pro, which is a fairly cheap smart watch, but cheap means the fitness features don't work great, but that's fine, I mostly bought it to check time and alerts without having to pull my phone out of my pocket.

Thing is I've had a few posts go viral or near viral (what is viral on the Fediverse?), and the alerts are killing my watch's battery, so I had to turn off alerts from @Fedilab Apps . Besides, those have gotten distracting at this point.

The image shows a text post on a social media platform. The post is written in black text on a white background and is accompanied by a blurred-out profile picture at the top. The text is a critical commentary on Christian death cults, expressing the author's view that members of these cults believe they will be rewarded for their actions in the afterlife, despite the logical inconsistencies in their beliefs. The post includes phrases such as "Pearly Gates," "White Heaven," and references to the New Testament and the Ten Commandments. The author suggests that these beliefs are irrational and that the cult members will be rewarded for actions that are morally questionable. The post concludes with a statement about the consequences for those who did not follow the cult's beliefs.

The image features a quote overlaid on a background of the American flag. The quote, attributed to Mohamad Safa, reads: "WE CAN'T HAVE CLEAN ENERGY BECAUSE IT WILL DESTROY THE OIL INDUSTRY. CAPITALISM IS A SYSTEM WHICH DISABLES THE OPTION TO DO THE RIGHT THING." The words "CLEAN ENERGY," "OIL INDUSTRY," "HEALTHCARE," "HEALTH INSURANCE INDUSTRY," "PEACE," and "WEAPON INDUSTRY" are highlighted in blue and yellow, respectively. The background is a distressed American flag, with the text in white and yellow on a black background. The image features two photographs of a man in a suit, one showing him speaking and the other playing a grand piano. The text overlay reads: "Today, I saw a video clip of Pete Buttigieg playing classical piano. Another where he speaks in Spanish. And then there’s the one where he tells Parisians he shares their pain — IN FRENCH. It doesn’t have to be Buttigieg, but just imagine how nice it’d be to have a President whose intellect exceeds that of a root vegetable." The text is presented in a bold, black font against a white background, with the photographs positioned on either side of the text.

The image features a screenshot of a news broadcast with a person in a suit and tie seated in front of a backdrop that includes the American flag and a blue flag with a yellow star, likely representing the European Union. The text at the top reads "TRUMP YESTERDAY:" followed by a quote: "Wind energy doesn't work. You need subsidy for wind. Energy should not need subsidy." Below this, a yellow banner with bold red text states "FACT CHECK:" and provides information about subsidies: "In the past 25 years, renewable energy has received about $350 billion in direct and indirect subsidies. In the same period of time, fossil fuels have received $2.5 TRILLION in indirect and direct subsidies." The image concludes with a bold statement in yellow text: "DUMBEST PRESIDENT EVER!" The overall layout is designed to highlight the contrast between the initial statement and the fact-check, using contrasting colors and bold fonts to emphasize the message.

The image features a black background with white and yellow text. The text is arranged in a block format, with the first line in white text stating, "You're not mad that someone ELSE might soon make $15/hr." The second line, also in white, reads, "You're mad because YOU should be making $25 or $35 and you SHOULD be mad." The word "Refocus" is highlighted in yellow. The following lines continue in white text, stating, "Your enemy isn't the poor person who is finally getting a few more crumbs." The final line, in yellow text, reads, "Your enemy is the billionaire who is been robbing you of a fair living wage all these years." The text is centered and uses a bold, sans-serif font, making it easy to read against the black background.
