Trump Asks Congress for Formal Declaration of War
Trump wants to send American troops to Gaza, Panama, Canada, and Greenland.
On March fourth, 2025, President Trump asked a joint session of Congress for a formal declaration of war against those who were withholding territory from the US unjustly. "America has every right to rule Gaza, Panama, Canada, and Greenland," he said, "and they have no right to resist American rule. I'm pretty sure that in the Bible, God gave that land to the US."Trump also suggested that, if Ukraine does not surrender to Vladimir Putin (whom he described as a "clever and pragmatic man"), the US will take control of it, and exploit its resources. "If you want peace, you have to pay the price," said Trump.
Before the election, I thought that the Republicans didn't look that much worse than the Democrats (and what a god-awful mess they are!). Trump surprised me. No. That's not right. Trump stunned me and the rest of the world. The man is completely insane. I have no idea what he might do next. Will Trump really declare war against the rest of the world? Four months ago I would have chuckled at the idea. Now I have no idea what he might do next. There seems to be nothing so insane that Trump won't do it. I just think of the craziest thing he could possibly do, and that's what he actually does.
