@Delta Chat why is there no choice between 5 weeks and 1 year?

not sure. Maybe raise the topic at the support.delta.chat forum if it's of strong enough interest to you.

@Delta Chat Moderate importance, but seems a weird choice not to have quarterly and semi-annual delete options in there
in reply to 🌴 Seph πŸ’ πŸ‘Ύ

Don't know, but I do like Delta Chat, except that they now started a background connection which is always open.

Small print on signs at a tram park and ride hid the fact I could get clamped

#Criminal, #private #parking corporations

Our car was clamped while parked at the NET Forest Tram Park and Ride in /Nottingham, and we had to pay Β£140 to have it freed.

The prominent signs displayed at the entrance state that those parking without using the tram will be clamped. We did use the tram to and from the city centre after walking in the adjacent park.

It was the enforcement officer who pointed out a notice on the BACK of the entrance sign which stated, in small print, that #drivers have to buy a ticket on arrival. We appealed citing inadequate signs but the appeal was rejected.

if this is true, then it will be the second of two things. He’s actually done during both of his presidencies that I like, and think actually did give benefit to the country. But this is Donald Trump, so it could be walked back in an instant either by him or by one of his cronies.

@Xoa Gray @Tiki Bunny Imports πŸΉπŸ‡πŸ›»πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but it'd be cool to see it happen, especially with the push back coming from a quasi governmental agency that's been leading to them getting banned.
in reply to 🌴 Seph πŸ’ πŸ‘Ύ

yeah same here. I would love to see them made just across-the-board legal. I’ve wanted one for years specifically a Subaru Sambar.
in reply to Xoa Gray

@Xoa Gray @Tiki Bunny Imports πŸΉπŸ‡πŸ›»πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ I don't think we'll see that, but there's a lot to do, after all I do believe the law banning them wasn't targeted at them, but more mainstream vehicles that were being imported, so exceptions could be made for them, from decreasing the wait time on importing them, kneecapping the group that's trying to ban them, simplifying the import, creating a special classification for them and maybe city cars, hard to say, Americanized versions definitely won't happen though.
in reply to 🌴 Seph πŸ’ πŸ‘Ύ

Oh yeah, there's a lot of things that could be done. But the American auto industry lobbyists are spending millions to do everything they can to make sure it doesn't. That's where the real fight is right now.
in reply to Xoa Gray

@Xoa Gray @Tiki Bunny Imports πŸΉπŸ‡πŸ›»πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ I find it hard to imagine American car company manufacturers worried about these, despite the increased interest, they wouldn't likely offer much competition as they're not a segment anyone operates in here. Now for side by side and UTV manufacturers, a definite threat.
in reply to 🌴 Seph πŸ’ πŸ‘Ύ

worthless drek. Kei cars as imports would destroy the US automakers. Domestic ones would suck and be ibscenely expensive so... Safe to ignore.

Hi Muse, I would expect nothing but a civil discourse from you and so I was just clarifying things, rather than trying to win an argument for the sake of a fragile ego. Have a nice weekend!

@Khurram Wadee I have a speech in one of my plays where a character goes into how important elephant poop is to the planetary ecosystem. The poop fertilises and disperses seeds, it also provides for critical insects who pollinate everything. Go elephant poop! hehehe!
