Weird Aldi pizza
I love pizza, I mean really love, as in I could live on pizza and coffee as my only foods, and I love trying new combos. Aldi is a great source for this, while they don't carry many pizzas standardly, they often have special buy pizzas, and those can get really interesting, like this one that I thought was just a BBQ chicken pizza with a fancy title.
So I toss it on the pizza stone, ready to cook it up for lunch, and... Is that corn chips on there?
Check the label, yep, it is. Well that's new, and actually not bad, adds an interesting crunch to the pizza and pairs well with BBQ chicken. I think this is one of my favorite pizzas, frozen or fresh, but unfortunately I have no idea who makes it, Mama Cozzi's is a house brand, they relabel the source brand, sometimes without even changing the packaging other than removing the original brand, and in this case, this is not something I've ever seen here in #STL .
So what to do now
Now that the Big Ugly Bill has passed, what to do now? I've a lot of rambling thoughts, but the shortest and most important? Anti-consumerism, not just because we're going to be a lot poorer thanks to this, but because the economy is built on us using the few pennies the rich give us to buy things they tell us we need. Lets all spend our money, what little they give us, wisely, and do everything we can to avoid giving any of it back to them.
More of my random thoughts on my Tumblr
I need to go look into more info on this, its rather interesting, basically they're encouraging moss to grow on buildings in order to improve the environment.
I know this feeling too well, as I have an omelet most mornings, or at least try most mornings

No, I can't verify what's claimed in the image as I only speak two languages, English and bad English.
Best purchase yet?
So, I've been casually looking for a compact bookshelf stereo for my desk, something that could replace my computer speakers while at the same time giving me the option to listen to CDs or the radio, and yesterday I got this:
That's a big bigger than it looked in the pictures, or rather really deep. It is however great, and very much over kill. Why? Because it doesn't just do radio and CD, it also does DVDs, as in its a DVD player. No HDMI, but does have composite and I think S-video, so very nice piece, music and video in one small unit.
I might actually go back to the computer speakers, while this works fine, that'd allow me to hear things on the computer and play music at the same time, which is very appealing. Also since I've retired my engraver, I can replace my other computer with a small TV and watch DVDs at my desk if'n I want to.
Dunno if they still make units like this, but highly recommended, it's nice how it saves space while giving you so many options, imagine living in a tiny home or RV (caravan), all your media in one small box. I scored this one for just $20 on Marketplace, which seems about fair considering these were sold back around 2005, so really old.
