I feel safer going round a roundabout next to an HGV than one of these monstrosities (at least the HGV driver knows there's other vehicles around them).

And yes, most Americans drive cars that are far too big for their purposes and that endanger pedestrians.

in reply to Badger AF (he/him) DEMOCRACY • • •Yes! Good Lord, many of us *want* smaller cars to drive. We badly need smaller, more affordable EV's, not just luxury SUV's or giant pickup trucks. Why should we expect Europeans to want giant trucks? Man, a lot of *us* can't stand those things, to the point that the giant lifted pickup driven by a cosplay cowboy is a cultural joke.
