Transparent Election Initiative


Hopefully this'll pass, it'll be nice to see things change. I also wonder how this'll impact LLC's in Montana as they're commonly used by the rich to avoid taxes and fees on cars.

There are a lot of magas in MT, but also a lot of folks who do not trust "the man behind the curtain" style of politics.

The linked article is dated Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The Montana team published the text of the initiative on July 28 and is set to submit it to the Secretary of State on August 1.


So what happened? Why have we not all heard of this? Was it on the November ballot?

@David Ok, looks like its going on the 2026 ballot, they just got a head start to so they can deal with challenges and other problems without running out of time
