Now that David #Copperfield is in the news again for being an #Epstein creep and buddy, let me tell you how I know the girls who accused copperfield of drugging them are not lying.
The year...sometime in the early 80s, me fresh back from detention in a convent ( ok, school, whatever), working at the yacht club for summer so I could afford to sail my little boat, and one of the members gave me and another girl tickets to see the show and backstage passes.
The show was amazing, he was a great illusionist, and we went backstage and ... my dudes... the variety and copiousness of available intoxicants was amazing, even by Florida standards.
What he and his enablers failed to take into account is that I am the Pearly Sweetcake of my generation. Ha. I ended up calling my stepdad and uncle to come get us, and we took half a dozen other almost passed out teenage girls with us.
This was clearly a modus operandi.
