@RS, Author, Novelist, Prosaist @NaraMoore ⛩️👻八尺様👻⛩️ at Fedi She's on Misskey, not sure they support it. Text formatting on the Fediverse can get weird, depending on what your instance runs, you might be able to use Markdown, HTML or BBCode (my favorite), but you'll have to ask your admin if it doesn't show what software your instance uses.

If you have a three dots button, this takes you to the instance main page. See red arrow. I've highlighted that GlitchSoc is running.

I couldn't make it work. I tested all the main markdown features (not tables), and neither subscript nor highlight worked. I think the developers thought strikeout was more useful. If you wish to check yourself, the spec has a single tilde surrounding subscript like so, H~2~O and two equal signs to highlight something. The word something included equal signs, but they are simply discarded.

@RS, Author, Novelist, Prosaist @John Gruber Made me look a bit more at Friendica's use of BBCode, and I love the fact that we have [noparse], [nobb] and [pre] to use if'n we want to discuss BBCode without triggering it.
