Its quiet over here, too quiet
Ok, if'n any y'all have noticed, its been quiet here, and frankly that's not changing.
As I've mentioned (at least I think I have), i've started experimenting with #hubzilla , which is going well. What's not going well is my Wafrn, its mostly back, but still a bit flakey after⦠5 days? Maybe more, and this is the second major failure this year, not that it wasn't preceded by various random hiccups. Plus for some reason its not unusual, in fact its very common to see the same post multiple times in a row. I like #Wafrn, but I'm definitely thinking its not ready for primetime.
So what this means is that by #HubZ account that was meant to be a temporary test account, is now moving towards being my main account, I mean it can do everything this place can, and it has a better interface. It does have an issue with being so complicated that I need to find time to sit down with the manual and learn how to do everything I want with it, I mean you can have all kinds of accounts, static web page, micro blog, wiki, and more. Seriously, I could set up a main page as a micro blog, a secondary page as a web site, and a third page as a community page. Oh, and then there's the option of making a chat room. Yeah, its really complicated, really hard to explain, but also really neat.
There is one problem, and that gets back to the title of the post. Not sure why, but while I can comment on @Chuff posts, my HubZ posts, I can't boost/quote boost them, there's some kind of issue with linking the servers, and I think that has to do with my host @GoFedi , which I think is slowly dying, I have a similar problem DMing with my #Loops account. Right now I'm manually adding my friends list from Wafrn there as there's no export option on Wafrn, then I'll be copying over my #diaspora friends and RSS Feeds from here.
