Is this specific to the US? Or is it a global statistic? In the interests of clarity, is there a source?

To be clear, I am not fond of the police, even less so since the UK criminalized protest groups.

@Tattered Unquestionably the US, we have a real problem over here, and while I don't have a source for this, I feel like I've read this somewhere already.
