Unknown parent • •@the three-day monk The point is that everyone always trots out their not safe for our roads as a reason to ban them, and yet the same people barely even blink at the idea of motorcycles, scooters, UTVs and golf carts being allowed on roads, the latter two restricted to neighborhoods.
As to crash standards, I doubt the older ones are particularly good, the vans and pickups have little more than a piece of sheet metal between you and what you hit, though the newer ones are getting a small (very) crumple zone, and I think ABS now.
