Every time I see mention of Guam, I think it might be nice to move there. This time I took a serious though not detailed look, and I gotta say I like the idea. Kinda like Hawaii without the rampant tourism from the looks of things? I love pizza, I mean really love, as in I could live on pizza and coffee as my only foods, and I love trying new combos. Aldi is a great source for this, while they don't carry many pizzas standardly, they often have special buy pizzas, and those can get really interesting, like this one that I thought was just a BBQ chicken pizza with a fancy title.
So I toss it on the pizza stone, ready to cook it up for lunch, and... Is that corn chips on there?
Check the label, yep, it is. Well that's new, and actually not bad, adds an interesting crunch to the pizza and pairs well with BBQ chicken. I think this is one of my favorite pizzas, frozen or fresh, but unfortunately I have no idea who makes it, Mama Cozzi's is a house brand, they relabel the source brand, sometimes without even changing the packaging other than removing the original brand, and in this case, this is not something I've ever seen here in #STL .

I think the Trader Joe's brand people use Aldi for stealth product testing. I have gotten some stuff that was almost exactly the same as a TJ's sort of product with different fillings/flavor. They show up for a week and then no more. Usually frozen stuff.

@Xoa Gray Normally when I use a phone, that's not really a problem, outside of calls and texts, when I do something on the phone, having a specialized app is fine, as long as it does the job well. Back when I had a Galaxy, I could never get into Samsung's desktop mode as I have a very specific way I surf the web with how I divide content across tabs and move between them, and on Android your forced to use apps for some of that content. Don't get me started on smart homes and smart devices, no thank you.
My big issue is when an app is used where it's only purpose is data collection. Or like where it doesn't make things any better. Take my scooter for instance. You can't unlock the full speed, or change some settings without specifically a smartphone app. I hate this. I want the settings available on the scooter. I don't want the smartphone to be the control panel for every devise I own. That isn't to say i hate there being an app. I just want it to be optional.

Now that the Big Ugly Bill has passed, what to do now? I've a lot of rambling thoughts, but the shortest and most important? Anti-consumerism, not just because we're going to be a lot poorer thanks to this, but because the economy is built on us using the few pennies the rich give us to buy things they tell us we need.
