Reform UK candidate who called Hitler 'brilliant' in charge of vetting

A former #Reform #UK candidate who described Adolf #Hitler as “brilliant” at inspiring people is now in charge of the party’s vetting process, reports say.

Jack Aaron’s comments, in which he also claimed Vladimir #Putin’s use of force in #Ukraine was “legitimate”, came to light last year when he stood for #ReformUK in the Welwyn Hatfield constituency in the General Election.

Despite the scandal, Aaron is now said to be head of vetting for Reform UK.

His role will include studying prospective candidates' social media outputs and advising them on what should be deleted.
