Most who have been 'based' here have relocated, weeks/months ago, and it has been seamless.
For those hesitating, confused, or weighing some other platform entirely, it need not be any more difficult than picking/joining a new *pora instance/pod, copy/paste your bio if you like it, re-post your familiar avatar (if you want/makes it easy to be recognized), pick those interests / # tags, and re-add contacts, using all the info from "here" to easily find aspects, people, etc. Once set, that's it. It will look exactly the same. Your new pod will send out a #newhere post which may bring some new contacts interested in your interests, plus remind ongoing contacts to re-add you at the new address. And done. Use this time to find/add those you've missed.
