I've only lived and worked in two countries (USA and Japan), and only visited two others (UK and Canada), Canada for a total of less than 5 days.
Health care in Japan is better in every way than in the USA.
In Japan, I taught kids from ages 6 to 15. I think Japan was better for children, overall.
Japan seemed safer than the USA.
"Quality of Life"? That's just too vague to be useful.
In the 1990s, in both Japan and the USA, Japanese students preferred US universities.
Nordic countries certainly have a good reputation. Still, Gunhild Carling moved from her native Sweden to the USA. She is a jazz musician, and this is the birthplace of jazz, so that might have a lot to do with that.
I remember watching some video about the different homes of successful musicians. A Danish pop star, after being shown some American star's sprawling mansion voiced something like "Why would I want that?" She had a nice apartment and a cat, and took out her own trash. That'd be me, too.

With my luck, the billionaires would buy their politicians and enforce borders and anti immigrant policy and livestock the population there too
