The official Doctor Who YouTube channel has posted the entire Genesis of the Daleks serial - one of the most highly regarded Classic Who stories.

If you want to see what the big deal is with Classic Who, it's a good example.

I remember that first time round.. One of the problems back in the day which is now exposed by being able to watch the episodes back to back is how the "cliffhanger" at the end of an episode was not the same as the beginning of the next.. hahaha.. See "tomb of the cybermen" for a few classic examples ("excellent")

@Jodi K Definitely, and not just on Doctor Who. Tom Baker may be a bit odd, but never boring to watch!

@juliadream Oh, I think the differences between the cliffhangar and the beginnings of the next episode are part of the fun. Sometimes it's just so blatant.

Anyway, the BBC has also started up an official Doctor Who YouTube channel for full episode plays of some serials. I expect it'll just be some small selections, to whet your appetite.

So far, they've posted:

Spearhead from Space (3rd Doctor, introduction of Liz Shaw and the Autons)
The Sea Devils (3rd Doctor, Delgado's The Master)
The Time Warrior (3rd Doctor, introduction of Sarah Jane Smith and the Sontarans)
The Happiness Patrol (7th Doctor)
