(IMP #1 was in the room next door to the 7094 computer that I used, my office was down the hall.)
See those lifting hooks on the top of the IMP? Mark Kampe and I (and a few others) thought - gee it is a ruggedized box, ww wondered if it could survive a 9 floor drop from the roof of the building (we had been dropping other things to see what would happen.) Good thing we did not try.
