The #Scottish Government should not use its limited powers as an “excuse” to avoid standing up to Donald Trump after the “abduction” of the captain of a seized #oil #tanker, a Scottish Greens MSP has said.

Earlier this week, it emerged that the #US Government ignored a Scottish court order and removed the captain and first officer of a #Russian-flagged, #Venezuelan-linked oil tanker the #Marinera, also known as #Bella 1, from #UK waters.
