For this week's #Cataurday I thought I'd lean back into something a bit more SFW. This one is from a Traveler campaign I ran Swift in, as the GM had homebrewed chakats for the Mongoose Traveler system.

Since this was outside the chakatverse, shi's going by the other name I've considered for hir, Mistral. I seriously considered making that hir name in general, but at least in the chaktverse shi's solidly established, so I only really use it outside of that timeline.

Regardless, shi was still mostly the same, a former engineer-turned-hotshot pilot. Eventually shi gained a set of power armor that allowed hir to beam-spam nearly on the level of the Freedom Gundam. Typically shi'd move to the ceiling or walls, using hir familiarity with zero-G combat to throw off those more used to thinking in two dimensions.

Today's #Cataurday image just amuses me greatly because of how atypical it is to have something like boredom in a pic like this, and the story idea with it.

Y'see, modeling nude is often portrayed as something sexy and exhibitionist, and Swiftwind totally bought into that myth, so when shi was asked to model for an artist friend, shi jumped at the idea Unfortunately, it turned out to be far more boring than shi thought... not to mention hir rear leg muscles are starting to ache. And they're only half-done!

Well, it's #Sneptember and #Cataurday so twice the reason to post my chakat gal today! This one's really old, the first I got of hir after I was able to start commissioning in earnest. It's more of a generic sci-fi vibe, rather than chakatverse or Traveller, but I still think it's cool. Fitting for a sneptaur, right?

This is a bit older image, from Chinny( furaffinity.net/user/czgoldedi… ) of Swiftwind during hir assignment to the FSS Excalibur. The pose may seem a bit odd; shi's in the middle of a dance/aerobic routine.

Final #Sneptember #Cattaurday post! This was actually the first ever image I commissioned for Swiftwind(as shi had only existed in Second Life before that) and actually paid for it with Lindens in SL at the time.

There's a few features that hadn't been solidified yet - no back stripe for example, and hir hair is down rather than tied up, but I still think it works very well as a teenage version of hir.

Swiftwind eventually left hir Star Fleet career for the private sector as a test pilot, as flying capital ships did not let hir really push the envelope like shi really wanted to. Since Star Fleet personnel usually stay in the service or transfer to the Star Corps, that got the attention of a bi-annual pilot's magazine, who shi was more than willing to do an interview and photoshoot for.

This is an idea I'd been trying to get done for a while, but it's harder than you'd think to find an artist that does do these sorts of fake magazine covers AND has a visual style I liked.
