I used to love thrifting, but 1. I have plenty of stuff 2. They almost never have clothes in my size. When the prices go up I just wonβt be shopping.
It is amazing what you find in thrift stores. Iβm not looking for new clothes myself but sometimes you find things you really need. I look at my closet and say βWear all the stuff you have.β
Definitely donβt reuse paper products @Brian Fitzgerald, but I do use cloths and wash those.
One thing my friends and family are doing is making a Gift List on Amazon so people know what you would really like for your birthday, etc. They donβt necessarily buy them on Amazon, especially if they find them elsewhere cheaper.
I donate as much as possible rather than throw away but I do buy new things when necessary. What is said on the post is true buying at a thrift store does much good for the community in several ways.
