I've got an 8 year warranty on mine. Probably trade it in or at my age die before then. :)

My parents were Prius owners for years. The dealership was relentless at telling them they needed to trade in after 2-3 years because the batteries would fail. The batteries never did, but my folks did eventually trade in a couple of times. Got newer better versions, so they had that going for them.

@Kenny Chaffin Yeah, I think hybrids are prone to that, as they don't have the active cooling like BEVs do.
