in reply to Susan ✶✶✶✶ • • •In Australia we have had 14 vehicle recalls from various companies for June so far. All of these have been for petrol cars. How many of these made it to the news?
If you look around the Electrek site, it seems more than a little biased in its reporting. If you go to Trustpilot they only get 2.0 stars. It looks like it exists to discredit all things electric, except when they are Tesla. They sell Tesla parts.

in reply to Susan ✶✶✶✶ • • •Petroleum cars should be recalled. All of them. More often than not, death traps on wheels. Seriously.
I see petrol cars on the road every day that would never pass a safety inspection. A LED headlight out or flickering, incomplete or uncatalyzed combustion (smells really bad, most petrol cars to me) leaking profusely from their oil sumps, and often are quite loud and obnoxious as well as noxious.
